After working just a few days shy of 14 years in the dynamic and creative world of commercial television production I’ve seemingly made a giant leap into the real estate market.
For some part I’ve steered a course into this path and for some part I’ve got lucky when a large developer picked me up early, with an offer to work in a sales team. This team had a bald new mission in selling an exciting new project with over 2500 apartments that hadn't even been built yet. I’ve sold over 250 apartments over the course of 4 years. During this period I have learnt the basics on sales, people, the real estate market and their relationship to one and other.
Almost 3 years ago I started as an independent realtor for a nationwide agency. This is where I’ve made the next step into educating myself on the private real estate market. I started my outside education at the Academy for Real Estate one year ago. The result is that I’m a registered realtor at the VBO.
Van Westerloo Makelaardij is my first privately owned company that bears my own name. Its origin comes from the profound belief that there is a market for the way I want to work. That way is the one where there is value in an honest no-nonsense, personal approach yet where you make no concessions when it comes to quality.
In my spare time I like cooking, theatre and concerts. I would rather take a 4x4 with a tent on vacation and catch my own fish than not do much on a beach… Although picking up a book on some tropical island doesn’t sound too bad, come to say it!
